Who are we?

BEE Active is a private, professional and flexible organization that offers divers activities for children. BEE Active is a young organization whose goal is to give kids a amazing time together. For us it's important that children can be 100% themselves and develop in a safe environment. 

 

Alfredo Bakker

The founder of BEE Active is Alfredo Bakker, born and raised in Madrid. All his life he has been connected to the Dutch community here in Madrid. As a child, he attended the Nederlandstalige school in Madrid, and during his studies he worked at the after-school care centre. for several years, he has also organised parties and summer camps for children from the school.

His bilingualism allows him to easily maneuver within the two cultures. This allows him to help each family in the best way. With his educational/ pedagogical background combined with sports education, his goal is to give children a great time. Outdoor education and outdoor activities are central to this.

Alfredo almost knows all families very well. This makes the face of BEE Active so familiar, everyone knows Alfredo!

 

Renske Luhoff works for BEE Active to make all activities run as smoothly as possible. Renske has been living in Madrid for two years now and can make herself understood well in Spanish. Renske is originally a social worker specializing in working with youth and families. Renske has worked in the Netherlands as a School Social Worker. She guided children on social emotional issues and also helped them with developing their school skills. She also offered a listening ear to parents and advised where necessary. She also worked for several years at a childcare centre from ages 0 to 12. A perfect fit to be employed at BEE Active!

 

Together with Alfredo she organizes various activities for children. 

Renske is also in charge of the after school tutoring classes and she is also a point of contact for parents, for parenting questions, advice and consultation. If you have any questions related parenting or counseling, you can contact Renske directly through this link.

Our ambition

BEE Active offers after-school care, we organize birthday parties and summercamps. As we said we always find it important to listen to the needs of children and their parents. We work demand oriented, meaning: when parents needs our help, we'll BEE there. All our activities are in a homely and warm enviorment. This is important for us because this allows children to feel safe and secure. In this circumstances children can develop optimally.
